Paula and Hans ~ Love That Boy, Love The Girl
Paula and Hans were married at Tlaquepaque Chapel on a rainy summer day in Sedona, Arizona.
We got together with them a few days before the wedding to shoot their "day after session" before their wedding... it was great because Paula was able to try out her hair and makeup artist before the wedding and we were able to go to a location we would not have had time for on the wedding day. Having already shot their pictures before the wedding, it freed them up to really enjoy the day with their guests and family.
With Monsoon season in full swing, Paula and Hans tied the knot between heavy drops of rain under a sky full of marvelous thunderhead clouds. Paula got ready at El Portal, an amazing luxury inn a short distance off of Oak Creek.
After a short and very sweet ceremony at Tlaquepaque Chapel, the wedding party went back to El Portal for cocktail hour. For dinner, Paula and Hans treated their guests to a Texas-style barbecue by the amazing chef at El Portal.
Paula and Hans were so happy and full of smiles, tears of joy, and hugs and love for their family and friends. It was truly a pleasure to be there to document this fun group!
The artistic floral and decor were put on by the amazing team at Events by Showstoppers. The delicious cake was made by cake artist Andrea Carusetta-Blaut at Sedona Cake Couture.

Look! Real keys! It beats having the plastic keys all the hotels have these days... real keys at a resort is so romantic!
The left shot is Andrew's take on the hanging dress shot... the right is Katrina's take of the dress shot in a reflection... which one do you all like better?
We're loving this layered shot Andrew took... I love that you can see Paula's mom helping AND see Paula putting on her earrings AND that you can see her maid of honor so excited in the background... awesome image Andrew! ( thanks honey! :) ~andrew )

Just saw these! GREAT job you guys! I am SO happy with them! I like the pic of the wedding dress in the reflection. Hans is in Romania so I don't know if he's seen these yet! I will email him to look at them!
