Summer and Matthew ~ A Platinum Wedding
Several months ago our good friend Hollye Schumacher, an amazing Scottsdale-based photographer, called us and asked if we could help her out by shooting a wedding for her. The date of the wedding had to be moved and it fell on her sister's wedding date. We of course were more than happy to help out!
We found out, too, that the wedding had been slated for filming for the television series Platinum Weddings, which features on the WeTV network.
The wedding took place at the The Four Season's Resort in Scottsdale, and featured coordination by Scottsdale's expert Amy Vandervort.
Other expert vendors included: Floral and decor by The Flower Studio, and The Petal Pusher. Amazing classical and Spanish guitar by Miguel de Maria, Arturo Garibay, and Monte Perrault. Fun and entertaining mariachi by Mariachi Colonial de Lupe Esparza. Rentals and linens by both Tri-Rentals and BBJ Linen Rentals.

We watched the special on TV last night! So cool to see you both there shooting this great wedding. Congratulations! It's very much deserved.
Wonderful! Always wondered what it was like for a PW photographer with extra crew and all. Congratulations! Well done!
Hi there, Katrina & Andrew! What a beautiful, beautiful wedding this was. The couple were so attentive to one another, and the Summer was so incredibly emotive that I know you must have been on top of the world to be there and photograph their day in all its luscious glory. Congrats to the happy couple. And congrats to you guys (and to Holly!) for such a wonderful job.

LOVE it, you two! One of my faves is the far away shot of the couple by the window. It was SO fun seeing you both on TV, too! Congrats on a job wonderfully done!
