sage + kevin { wedding at the sanctuary camelback mountain }

we were so excited for sage and kevin's wedding at the sanctuary camelback mountain resort. their adoration for each other was always apparent... from our first meeting through the end of the wedding ... you could always see how much sage and kevin adore each other! it was an arizona destination wedding for a lot of kevin's family, as they few in from canada to enjoy some gorgeous arizona weather.

sage has one of those amazing mom's who is good at everything! they own a clothing boutique called hush hush (at 10810 n. tatum blvd. near the trader joe's) ... if you live in arizona it's definitely worth going too to find your next super cute outfit. she and sage planned the most gorgeous details ... from the bling on the backs of feathers being tossed by the flower girl, to the feather spheres and dancing jewels hanging from the trees. it was an amazing and detail rich wedding.

the best part, though, were all the emotions and moments that happened throughout the day and seeing the love their family and friends share for kevin and sage. the day could not have been any more perfect! we are so happy for you both!

these next four are andrew's ... he's great at layering images ... i love how you can see kevin's mom watching as kevin practiced his bow tying skills ...



this is a before and after ... kevin was practicing his bow tie for a while. ;) we think he got it just right...



a coin in your shoe for good luck? ... how about two?... one from the u.s.a and another from canada (where kevin is from)... how cute!

there are a lot of graphically rich areas around the sanctuary that are perfect for portrait-taking...



the directional light was fabulous in this room at the sanctuary..



we found this great spot with art on the wall, hidden away ... loved it for some "serious" images :)













kevin actually was looking away for a while to keep from crying... and then this look when their eyes finally met ... so sweet! ... captured by andrew from the back of the ceremony..



meanwhile, just moments later, sage was full of emotion ... it was a beautiful moment ... since katrina was hidden away in the front, she was able to capture it.





andrew was able to sneak this shot in of sage's mom watching during the ceremony ... we love to capture the expressions on parent's and guests faces during the ceremony because usually the bride and groom don't notice as they are usually fixed on each other.



lots of details ... as mentioned above the cake is by julia baker and the floral work by avant garden flowers ... instead of a lot of smaller tables they had 5 or 6 rows of long tables which was unusual and made for really creative floral displays. also i can't say enough about adding lighting to rooms, it really helps make a room even more gorgeous for pictures



they named their tables "i love you" in different languages ... sooooo sweet. something to consider if you were just considering using table 1 ... table 2 etc. makes it personal and full of character





...i ( andrew) loved this portrait katrina got, capturing sage and kevin's reflection in the brushed stainless wall..
