Instead there will be beautiful tables designed by our talented wedding coordinators and florists to inspire you with designed themes for your wedding. Meet wedding planners, officiants, musicians, florists, videographers, representatives from wedding venues and more. Hair and makeup demonstrations, beautiful invitations samples, and delicious food tastings with talented caterers and cake artists are just some of what you'll be able to experience.

Venue tours and the Sedona Wedding Studio open house begin at 10:00 am. Seminars will start at 12:00 and Arizona's top trend-setting wedding industry professionals will be sharing insights into getting the most out of your wedding budget.

$1000's in prizes will be awarded throughout the day including an engagement session from us, Sedona Bride Photographers! i just realized i never blogged this cute photo shoot i did early last year with margaret at van damme weddings.... i ran into these images while editing and thought it'd be fun to post. margaret is always so on top of super chic and adorable details to incorporate into weddings.

frank and heather's real engagement

this time of year, a ton of couples are getting engaged and planning their arizona weddings... but not many girls have a boyfriend thoughtful enough to think of every detail including having a pro photographer to document the surprise proposal!!!

a few weeks back i got a phone call from frank saying that he would be proposing!!! ... you could just tell from talking with him how super excited he was... he was picking up the engagement ring he had custom designed and he was wanting to pop the question at one of their favorite wineries in arizona... page springs cellars...

we decided that i'd be a photographer shooting "stock photography for the winery" and happen upon them and ask them to pose for a photo for the vineyard ... and then he'd pop the question... which he did and ...

.... she said YES!

while the property didn't have the lush green vineyard frank and i were envisioning ... well because it was winter ;) ... there was however some beautiful frost on the fallen leaves. see if you can spot heather's ring in them... the ground was sparkling from the frost just as much as the diamonds were!

you two need a large print of the shot above so you can see the tears in franks eyes!! and plus heather, you look stunning!

thank you for giving me the opportunity to shoot my very first *real* engagement session! it was so exciting and we are so very happy for you two!! hey guys, how sweet is frank for setting this up with photos??! these images will be treasured for so many years! what very lucky girl heather is to have such a thoughtful ... fiance!

p.s. a huge thanks to amina at some like it classic wedding and event design it was so sweet of you to recommend us so highly! frank is super lucky to have you as one of his best friends ... i know their wedding will be in good hands and amazingly beautiful!

sedona engagement session { amy and rob }

amy and rob are having their wedding at the royal palms in scottsdale and like many of our scottsdale clients decided to have their engagement session in sedona. the timing really couldn't have been better... november is so gorgeous with all the golds leaves and copper reds in the red rocks.

one of our favorite parts of the session was amy and rob's sweet puppy harley, he was soooo excited to be out of the city in nature and even though he moved quick like a bumblebee and wasn't quite interested in photos ;) there are a ton of great images with him in them. and amy and rob are a pretty gorgeous couple aren't they?

thanks you two! we can't wait to document your wedding this spring and hope harley makes an appearance at the wedding too! ;)

sedona merry go round wedding { anne + max }

weather threatened the location of the ceremony but anne and max were set on having their sedona wedding on merry-go-round... while it was so very cold the pictures below are proof positive they made a great choice in keeping their ceremony on schnebly hill.... the views and sunset were *amazing*!!!

these two are just the most adorable couple ... you can't help but fall in love with them. we adore how sweet their love for each other is. you can see what great people they are because of their wonderful families.

the prep took place at the fabulous adobe village graham ... what a beautiful bed and breakfast and their rooms are perfect for prep rooms for weddings in sedona... most couples don't think about the their prep room but photographers *always* appreciate when the prep takes place in a spacious room with great window light... which the rooms at adobe village graham have.

the adobe village graham also had great doors and a beautiful courtyard which we took full advantage of for their family pictures and bridal portraits...

the boys... max's best man was his brother and his groomsman was anne's brother... keeping it intimate and sweet...

white tie transportation brought everyone up the long and very bumpy road up to merry-go-round rock... we had an early november snow so it was quite a chilly day... but still so very beautiful as you can see below... 360 degree views... beautiful no matter which way you look.

max's mom couldn't help but cry... it's such an emotional day for parents...

just married!!!

sometimes we get really lucky on cloudy days... the sun pops out *just* before sunset and showers the landscape with golden light...

the personalized suitcase candy boxes we adorable and the pretty floral matched the romantic garden theme of the bouquets...

cucina rustica was a perfect space for their small reception... the food was, as always, soooo delicious!!

a perfect end to a perfect day!! congratulations anne and max!!!
